Needle and Thread

A young couple came home from a long day's work. As they went to the bedroom, the man casually took of his clothes and stepped in the shower. All freshened up, he came out and immediately jumped into bed. Tired as he was and just about to go to sleep, he noticed his wife looking busy with something in her hands. The man sat down beside his wife and saw her holding his shirt with a needle and thread.

Obvious as it may seem, the man still asked, "What are you doing?"

"I'm mending your shirt." His wife replied. " I know it's your favorite, but it got holes in it, so I thought of sewing them up for you," she added.

You didn't have to do that." the man quipped.

"But I do. I want to take care of you, and all the things that you love, even if it is just a plain old shirt." said the wife.

At that, the man planted a kiss on his wife's soft lips, and smiled at her.

"Thank you, hunny," he whispered.

The man's heart felt light. He felt cared for.

Never did he knew that love, given at such a small and simple way could ever be so beautiful.

My Family

This is my family. My parents christened me John Patrick and I'm the eldest of 7. My siblings from left to right: Tatee, Gerard, Chi-Chi, Wowie, Didoy, Aboy, and yours truly. Seated are my wonderful parents Cynthia and Paterno, Jr.
To them I lovingly dedicate this post, my source of inspiration and strength.
Jesus in me loves all of you.
